Well, I wanted to just do a quick post before too much time passed to say how much fun it was to be able to participate in the annual "Come Home to a Franklin County Christmas" this year. Despite the frigid cold weather the turnout was great. Mothers had their little ones bundled to the hilt with hot cocoa in one hand and tissues for runny noses in the other ;) I could hear the Wright Kids around the corner "a hoppin' and a boppin'" and the sounds of the chainsaw over near the Edible Vibe chipping away to make some beautiful ice sculptures. I was so blessed to be able to have an inside location thanks to a local vendor who allowed me to set up in a currently vacant spot just next to the Farmer's Market. By the end of it all there wasn't a crumb of homemade cookies left and the hot cocoa was history too. I had a blast getting to know some more citizens of this great community and being able to share my work with them. It was definitely worth all the hard work it took to set up and take down everything. A great big thanks to all who helped and all those who came out. I'm looking forward to next year already :)
